Want to get a head start on your dissertation?
We have put together a series of skills workshops for practical tips and tools to help you effectively do the best dissertation you can. Invest in your dissertation early by coming to any or all of these sessions!
This Project Management workshop is a super practical session designed to give you the skills you'll need to plan your dissertation project. More broadly, the skills developed here will help you plan your master's year if you approach it with a project mindset!
So you probably don't know what your dissertation topic will be but investing in this workshop will set the all-important groundwork - and doing it at the quietest, relatively speaking, time of the year for you!
One of the aims of the Community Research Initiative is to bring master's students together with voluntary & community organisations to collaborate on a research project. Therefore our skills workshops have a particular focus on collaborative projects. But there is definitely something here for everybody, whatever form your dissertation takes.
Don't be that student, leaving things to the last minute. If you do one thing 'extra' this term - make it a dissertation skills workshop!
There is also an online delivery of this session available - please choose either in person or online ticket to book your place. In person sessions will not be recorded but a narrated slide deck will be released after each workshop for asynchronous use.
