Are you passionate about widening participation in medicine and allied health professions? Do you love teaching or want to develop your teaching skills? If so, then this is the project for you! What do we do?

We are a fun volunteering outreach scheme aiming to widen participation in medicine and allied professions by teaching secondary school students about healthcare careers! Do you love teaching or want to develop your teaching skills? If so, then this project is for you!

Time commitment

If you choose to volunteer with us, you'll be paired with one or more other medical students and you'll deliver one-hour group presentations to a class of Year 10 or Year 12 Students. These one-hour presentations will take place once a week for 4 consecutive weeks in Term 2.
What measures have you put in place to ensure volunteers’ safety during COVID-19?
All sessions can successfully be moved online if necessary.
